Two heads are better than one.
And that goes for marketing campaigns as well.
FUBU was gearing up to celebrate its 27th anniversary.
And One Music Fest was preparing to let the world know it had reached its 10th year in the business.
These two iconic brands decided to collaborate by celebrating their accomplishments together with an innovative fashion capsule.
To produce a collab capsule aligned with the message of the two brands' integrated marketing campaigns using digital storytelling, influencer marketing, and advertising.
So, how did we do it?
We proposed to do a fashion capsule that promoted and sold event merchandise such as hats and T-shirts at FUBU and One Music Fest's websites during One Musicfest, a live concert.
To ensure the event's success, we launched a social and digital content dissemination plan focused on growing both brands by increasing their media presence and using accumulated data to enhance future joint marketing ventures.
We tapped our social influence by securing product integrations with FUBU creator Daymond John and one of the Sharks from ABC's Shark Tank.
We then launched our promotional campaigns using FUBU radio and Instagram Live.
We also reached out to select micro-influencers.
We achieved more than 27 million impressions online.
How did we know it was a success?
All merchandise sold out, driving unbelievable sales for both brands.
